Overview The Master Facilitator Journal is conducting audio (some over the telephone, some in-person) interviews with facilitators to provide our readers with additional insights, ideas, and perspectives from peers in the field. If you have a reasonable degree of experience in facilitation and feel that you have an interesting perspective to share, please email me with you interest and I'll respond with an application. Dr. Kevin Seymour Organizational/Clinical Psychologist, Facilitator,  and Consultant KeatSey@aol.com	Center for Personal, Family, and Organizational Development Meet Organizational Psychologist, Dr. Seymour, who's spent 25 years in clinical and organizational psychology. He has consulted in the areas of organizational analysis, culture transformation, project team development, strategic planning, large scale survey development, and partnering agreements. Dr. Seymour has also worked in conflict resolution both at the individual level, within teams, and between teams. He has conducted training courses in leadership, first line supervision, conflict resolution, facilitation, and dealing with difficult employees and situations. Susan Smith Educator, Facilitator sjsmith43@home.com	"Facilitation is like conducting an orchestra from the back of the hall rather than from the podium." Listen to Susan Smith share her passion--counseling and working with students with disabilities and those who are economically and learning disadvantaged for the past 25 years. Over the years these students taught her strength of heart, persistence in spite of pain, and not to enable, but to expect the best of them. As an Educational Administrator, she was blessed with a warm, caring, and innovative staff. Because of their genuine desire, along with hers, to work as a team with students and to be "guides on the side", they all learned how to facilitate together. "Whether working with an exceptional staff, students with mental disorders, addictive personalities, college administrators, statewide leaders, individuals through their dying process, or family and friends struggling with life/family issues, the tools of facilitation are the keys to a healthy process, a successful transition and a successful outcome."
